I used to keep all of them in a jewelry box, but I’m a very visual person and if I don’t see it, it’s because I don’t have it. Do you know what I mean?
If you’re like me, you’re gonna love how I organize my jewelry. I started by finding the perfect type of jewelry organizer for my necklaces and earrings.
The necklaces used to get completely tangled in the box, and I would always lose one of the earrings.
Has that ever happened to you?
It was so frustrating to get all dressed up and not be able to find the perfect accessories to match with my outfit. So I went to several stores and did my research. The one I picked checks all the items off my list.
Are you ready to learn how to easily organize your jewelry?
Necklace and Earring Organizer
The necklace and earring organizer I was able to find, has tons of hooks for the necklaces as well as little holes for you to attach your earrings too.
I love how I can see everything that’s on it. There’s even a little spot to add a couple of bracelets at the bottom and at the top. Or, you can always use that space for extra earrings.
This jewelry hanger is perfect for the thinner and more delicate necklaces. ( I couldn’t find the exact same one anymore, so I’m linking to a similar one I was able to find on Amazon).
The big, chunky necklaces, however, looked very messy and hid the smaller ones. For this reason, I felt like I needed to separate them. So I figured out a second way to organize the maxi necklaces and chokers that I have.
Can you tell that this is a key holder? You probably can, but just because I told you! [Kidding]
But the fact that it is a key holder, just makes it cheaper and easier to find anywhere, even at grocery and home improvement stores.
You can find some really cute and affordable ones over here.
They have a wider space between the hooks, which allows for the thicker necklaces to stay neat and organized. That looked great to me, but as I kept emptying what once was my jewelry box… I realized I had lots of hard, big bracelets as well as many watches.
Bracelet and watch organizers
As I mentioned before, I have to be able to see what I have. So I found a watch organizer and bracelet holder that allow me to see everything!
This watch organizer has individual dividers for each of the watches, which keeps them from scratching one another.
Now, as I kept emptying my jewelry box, one thing remained: the special jewelry items! The delicate, stunning necklaces, rings, and earrings that were gifted to me on special occasions. The ones you don’t let anyone touch, because you love them so much.
For those, I used a special box I got from a friend as a gift for my birthday. I used even smaller boxes inside of it to keep all the pieces separated and visible.
Here’s what it looks like:
To be able to organize my jewelry I felt like I needed different types of jewelry organizers. But if you don’t have that much jewelry, you can definitely pick one that works for you and the number of pieces you have.
Here are a couple of practical jewelry organizers I found around the web:
Do you feel like you’re ready to finally move those pieces out of the jewelry box, keep them someplace where you can see them, and start using them?
Making this change was transformational for me, especially when it comes to getting ready to go out. My husband is super punctual and it was always hard for me to get dressed and be ready at the time he expected me to. That’s why it’s very important that I have my stuff visible and well organized.
It saves me a ton of time when getting ready!!
