How to Actually Achieve Your Goals This Year

Every year, most of us set goals and resolutions and they end up being forgotten or just not being achieved at all. But we can’t let this happen this year. We can’t let our chance to finally be successful in whatever it is we dream of achieving, slip through our fingers once more. We just can’t!!!

Stay with me, and we’ll cover everything you need to do to actually achieve your goals this year!

Saving More, Spending Less Workbook, a downloadable guide for the busy mom who likes to keep her life organized

If you wanna be ahead of the game, you can go ahead and download our Goal Setting Planner now. There will be a link at the end also, but I just wanted to give you the option to do it before reading anything. 🙂

If you’re a visual person and would rather consume this content in video form, you can go here! Enjoy. Otherwise, keep reading.

#1. Define Your Goal

A major reason why people don’t achieve their goals for the year is that they don’t have their goals clear in mind in the first place. How can you create a plan and work toward achieving your goal if you don’t even know what it is that you want to achieve?

This lack of clarity will take you nowhere. No action can be taken if your goal is not defined. So the first thing you have to do is clear some time in your schedule to just sit, think, pray, and define very clearly what is your number one GOAL right now.

What is the number one thing you want to achieve THIS YEAR that will truly change your life? That will truly move you forward? That will truly make you happy? Is it a financial goal? A career goal?

#2. Write It Down

Once you have that information in mind, write it down. Write it down in a piece of paper, in your life planner, or on your phone… But please, do yourself this favor and write it down.

Once you write it down, your idea, desire, actually becomes a real goal. A target that is set on paper, that has been determined for you to accomplish!

Writing it down makes it official in your mind. Therefore, you can work toward it and achieve it!

#3. Create a Plan

Now your next step will be to create a plan. In this case, we’re planning our goals for this year, so we know that our deadline is the end of the year. But here’s the thing… we can break down our BIG GOALS into smaller goals that can be reached throughout the year.

For example, if you’re trying to lose weight and your goal is to lose 50lb, you can determine that you’re going to lose 12.5lb in each quarter. That means you break down your goals into bite-sized pieces that can be finished in a shorter amount of time so you can move on to the next.

Because, in all honesty, how do you climb a huge mountain or run a marathon? One step at a time, right? This will give you smaller goals that seem more attainable and will also give you shorter deadlines that keep you on track.

By doing this, you won’t get lost or discouraged, pursuing such a big goal that never seems close enough for you to complete.

Next week, we’ll go into detail on how to create a plan that gives you a very HIGH possibility of achieving success! I will walk you through the entire process of planning your year so taking action becomes easy and clear. Never let your goals slip through your fingers again for a lack of clarity and planning.

You’ll need to have our Goal Setting Planner on hand to make the most of this information and to have some sort of guide to help you create this life-changing plan!

#4. Take Action

With all the above steps being done, the next right thing for you to do is TAKE ACTION!

This is the best part, but it’s also where a lot of people fail. You need to be persistent, strong and NEVER give up. The difference between those who make it and those who don’t is that those who make it NEVER GIVE UP, and those who don’t, always give up in the middle of their journey.

So here’s where you have to separate yourself from the crowd and make sure you are in the winning team!

Are you ready for this?
