Valentine’s Day is such a special holiday! We get to show our friends, family, and just loved ones, in general, all the love we feel for them.

What better way to do that than taking our time to create a meaningful craft? I feel like crafts are always an amazing way to get kids to think about others. To take the time to create something special with their own hands. It’s one of the ways we can teach them to be kind and caring towards their friends. We can teach how actions mean more than words.

I’ve picked 10 amazing crafts I found around the web from incredible bloggers! These crafts are easy and simple to make, but truly meaningful!

10 Easy Valentine’s Day Crafts for Preschoolers to Make

#1. Valentine’s Day 3D Paper Hearts

Valentines 3D Paper Hearts Craft

Valentine’s Day 3D Paper Hearts – Diane from Suburbia Unwrapped

These are the first craft I want to do with my oldest, Sam. I just love that these hearts are 3D and that we can use them to decorate our house and give it a Valentines vibe.

I think I will be making a garland with many of them and hang on our dining room wall. This will set the mood, and remind us to act in ways that truly express our love for each other in our home.

Looking for new ways to express true love for your spouse? In this article, you’ll find 15 ways you can do just that!

#2. Cute Valentine’s Day Lion Craft

Lion Craft - Cute and easy craft for preschoolers to make this Valentine's Day

Cute Valentine’s Day Lio Craft – Carlee from Fun Learning Life

This craft is super cute and the best part of it is really the message that comes inside the Lion card:

“Roar”ring you a Happy Valentine’s Day!

This is actually the perfect craft to make to either give out to our kids’ friends at preschool or to their teachers. It’s easy to make, you most likely have everything you need at home, and it’s meaningful!

#3. Valentine Soda Can Craft: “I Soda Like You”

I Soda Like You Valenties Craft

“I Soda Like You” Valentine’s Day Craft – Angie from the Country Chic Cottage

Angie teaches how to make this craft using her Cricut machine. That’s why the writing looks so neat! But anyone can really just grab cute pens or markers and help their preschoolers do it by hand. So don’t get intimidated by the Cricut.

Or, if you feel that you don’t really like your writing, you can also use your computer and a printer to make this part easier on yourself and have a more standardized result.

#4. Valentines Party Popcorn

Valentine Party Popcorn – Trish from Uncommon Designs

I will be very honest with you and just say that I have never tried making sweet popcorn in my life, but this one looks so appetizing that I had to include it on this list!

Plus, I’m really sure that my kids will love anything sweet involved in the recipe!

#5. Fingerprint Heart Poem Keepsake

Fingerprint Heart Poem Valentine's Day Craft for Preschoolers

Fingerprint Heart Poem Keepsake – Louise from Messy Little Monster

Honestly, I got really emotional when I read the poem on the craft. Here’s what it says:

I know you wipe some away,
But these prints were made to stay.
So keep them forever, a treasure they’ll be.
A special ‘I LOVE YOU’ for you from me.
Isn’t it just too cute? If you’re looking for a craft to make so your kids can give it to mommy or daddy, this is definitely the one!

#6. Happy Valen-Slime Day

Valenslime-Day Valentines Craft for preschoolers

Happy Valen-Slime Day – Kim from The Best Ideas for Kids

This preschool craft is great to make with your little one so they can give out to their friends at preschool. It’s an easy craft, fun to make, and any kid would love to get one.

It’s not just for them to look at (and it’s not candy!), but it’ll also provide them with hours and hours of fun. Make sure to stay safe and supervise your child while making this craft. It’s not meant to be eaten, but I can see how tempting it could be for them to want to put it in their mouth.

#7. Painting Hearts on Rocks Valentine’s Day Craft for Preschoolers

Painting Hearts on Rocks – Jane and Sonja from Sustain my Craft Habit

What kid doesn’t love painting? A way to make this craft even more fun is to go outside with the kids for a walk and treasure hunt the rocks! It will make the rocks more special as the kids were the ones who picked them out.

#8. Love Bug Chocolate Caterpillar Valentines Craft

Love Bug Chocolate Caterpillar – Nikki from Tikkido

This craft isn’t as pink and purple as the others, but it sure is cute! This caterpillar is adorable. Did you notice she has a heart-shaped leaf in her mouth?

It’s a great craft to make with the kids and give out to friends and family as a symbol of love!

#9. Valentine’s Day Silly Heart Puppet Craft

Valentine's Day Silly Heart Puppets - Easy craft for preschoolers

This craft is a fun one for preschoolers. Puppets always stimulate their creativity and imagination through pretend play!

If your preschooler has siblings, this will be the perfect craft for them to play with together!

#10. Valentine’s Day DIY Crepe Paper Heart Wreath

Valentine's Day Tissue Paper Heart wreath

Valentine’s Day Crepe Paper Heart Wreath – Shruti from Artsy Craftsy Mom

I don’t decorate our whole house for every Holiday on Earth. However, I definitely display a few crafts and simple decor pieces in their play area.

This wreath is the perfect craft to make with your preschooler to display in their playroom or bedroom for a few days. It creates that Valentine’s Day vibe we all love!
