I absolutely love gift giving! Maybe the fact that I also love to get gifts has a little bit to do with it. I know it’s not the most important thing, but it is important to me, even if it’s something simple and thoughtful.
A lot of people consider gift giving something futile, but if you think about it, it’s not. So much so that receiving gifts is among the 5 love languages. This means that while it might not be everyone’s main love language, it does make everyone feel loved!
So even if it’s not your husband’s, boyfriend’s or fiancé’s favorite way of feeling loved, it still makes them feel loved. What if this Valentines Day you incorporate all 5 love languages in the day you planned for him? Wouldn’t that be amazing? Making him feel loved in 5 different ways?
Just to refresh your memory (and mine too), I will mention the 5 love languages down below as well as ways you can apply each of them this Valentines Day!
- Receiving gifts: buying something nice, useful, something you know he likes, or you can also make something yourself!
- Words of affirmation: writing a card, a romantic letter, poem. Or… Just go all out and speak your love to him!
- Acts of service: breakfast in bed, organizing a pile of junk he had been meaning to organize, run an errand he doesn’t like to run. I don’t know what it is he needs, but you know better than I do, so try to remember things he wanted done and do them before Valentines Day (you don’t wanna spend the whole day doing things for him and forgetting to actually be with him, right?)
- Quality time: take him out for dinner or plan a fun day out.
- Physical touch: I’m pretty sure you got this one, girl!
The best Valentines Day gift ideas for him
Watches for him
First, let’s start with one of my favorites! Men’s watches are so cute. I selected watches from great brands and various styles. I chose casual watches as well as sporty, and formal. My favorite is the blue sporty one by Citizen!
Fragrances for him
This one is a gift for him and for you! I love when my husband smells good. He has a great taste in fragrances. Down here is a selection of his favorites, my favorites and some of the men in my family’s favorites! My top two are Abercrombie Fierce (soooo good) and Bvlgari Aqva (which by the way, the set is a great deal).
Headphones & Earphones for him
If your babe likes music, here’s an awesome gift for him. My husband’s had his Beats headphones since forever. Seriously, it’s been years! It’s in great shape and the sound is still flawless. The refurbished ones by Apple are only $100.99!!! I also added some other modern slim headphones if you’re looking for something unique.
Backpacks & Shoulder bags for him
Backpacks are always good to have, especially if you and your husband travel a lot or like outdoor sports. If he has a corporate job and needs to carry files or a laptop, down below you’ll see a couple of leather shoulder bags as well as a really cute black one, which is my favorite!
Buttoned shirts for him
Do you like gifting your husband with clothing? I love to! My husband doesn’t really like to go shopping so I really enjoy doing it for him! C’mon… Who doesn’t like shopping? If shopping didn’t cost any money, I would certainly do it every day! Here are some really cute casual buttoned shirts for him!
Dress shirts for him
My husband works with dress shirts every day! Not long ago we bought 6 new ones for him. Does your husband wear these to work? Does he like them? Look at these cute options.
T-shirts for him
T-shirts are probably the one type of clothing men wear the most, especially now with spring arriving. Look at the ones I found!!!
Wallets for him
I think the last two wallets my husband owned were gifts from me. Men don’t have purses like us. The only thing they carry everywhere other than their cellphone is their wallets, so it’s always nice to have a good looking wallet!
Shoes for him
This is the one other thing my husband never really buys for him. Well, he doesn’t really shop at all. I love picking shoes for him and I found some really cute ones with great pricing.
If you’re Christian and you like to start the new year with a new Bible, you might want to do the same for your husband. Down below is the same Bible my husband has and he absolutely loves it!
I really hope you can agree with me that these are indeed the best Valentines Day gift ideas for him! I really took my time curating beautiful items with several different styles that would be likable to most guys! I hope you found this guide helpful!
