I have personally used all of these Pregnancy Stretch Mark Creams! They made a huge difference during the time I used each of them.

You never imagine you’re going to be the one to have stretch marks, do you?
Well… I was pretty sure, in both my pregnancies, that I would never have stretch marks.
When I was about 2 to 3 months pregnant, with no belly showing yet, I began to use pregnancy stretch mark creams. This was in my first gestation.
But the thing is, I would apply the creams specifically on my belly, because it was obvious, right? My belly was the fastest growing body part. In fact, I figured the only one. I didn’t realize how much my breasts, hips, and thighs grew together (despite the comments of a couple of my friends).
I thought it was all in their minds.
I was the only one who didn’t see it.
Since the beginning of my pregnancy, they all told me “make sure to apply those stretch mark creams everywhere (belly, breasts, hips, and thighs)”, but I didn’t think it was necessary! So I didn’t do it.
To my surprise, the stretch marks first appeared on my breasts. I didn’t even think they were stretch marks. I thought they were just veins popping because of the higher blood level in my body.
When I realized they were actually stretch marks, I started using the cream on my breasts too. Then they attacked my thighs, so I desperately started applying the cream there too. They attacked a little bit of my belly, and by that time I was completely desperate!
By then, I decided to finally listen to them and was applying the creams basically everywhere that had a growing potential.
Why can pregnancy stretch mark creams help prevent stretch marks?
I want to be very clear in letting you know that I’m not a doctor or scientist, but I can talk about this because I read tons about it when I was pregnant with my boys.
So, here’s the thing… I will make it very simple and easy to understand. Our skin is, in general pretty elastic. But even elastics, when overstretched, end up rupturing.
This is exactly what happens when we’re pregnant. Our skin is overstretched, to the point that the collagen present in it gets overwhelmed, resulting in scars (the famous stretch marks).
Stretch mark creams and oils usually help your body restore its collagen, which is a fibrous protein that increases your skin’s elasticity.
These creams work best when the stretch marks are still red or pink (newly formed) because they have more chances of being reduced in appearance. Using creams to prevent stretch marks are also a good idea because they restore the collagen before it gets overwhelmed by all the stretching.
Now, please keep in mind that using them is no guarantee you won’t ever have stretch marks. Using them also does not mean they will go away forever. But it helps prevent them and it helps reduce their appearance.
My top 3 choices of pregnancy stretch mark creams
Since then, I’ve had a long journey fighting those stubborn stretch marks! I’m glad they show significantly less then they did in my pregnancies!
I’m really impressed with some of the stretch mark creams available out there! So much so, that the few stretch marks I have left, don’t really bother me anymore.
Maybe a little, but not even close to how much they bothered me when I first got them. They used to bother me to the point of desperation!
Now they’re like discrete love marks. Marks of the greatest loves of my life!
*Before I share my favorite creams, which resulted in wonderful results, I just want to make sure we’re on the same page! I’m not a doctor or any type of professional from the healthcare industry. Please, before using any of those creams, make sure to discuss it with your doctor to find out if you can use them or if you might have any allergies to their components.
Bio-Oil was the first pregnancy stretch mark cream that I used after the stretch marks popped. My friends had insisted for a long time that this was a good one, but I didn’t listen to them.
I didn’t listen to them simply because it’s in oil form, rather than an actual cream. I couldn’t bear the thought of applying oil to my whole body, so I chose to ignore them.
But then my body was suddenly completely covered in stretch marks and I had no option, other than listening to them. I finally got Bio-Oil and after the first few weeks of using it, I could see what the fuss was all about!
My stretch marks were lighter and a lot less noticeable than before.
At that moment, I realized that my friends probably didn’t enjoy the feeling of being covered in oil either! But it was kind of necessary. And worth it. Because it worked!
Each body reacts differently to different products. Sometimes what worked for my friends might not work for me or vice versa.
I also believe that if we use only one product forever and ever, our body kind of gets tired of it and it no longer serves its purposes. I’m not sure if this is even scientifically proven, but it’s how I feel about using the same product for a very long time. Depending on what it is.
For example, I like to switch shampoo brands or face cleanser brands every once in a while just to make sure I’m giving my body a fresh product to be exposed to.
When I tried the Bella B Tummy Honey Cream my husband was working in a warehouse, and for some reason, they had tons of this one hanging in there. They had probably switched packaging or something like that and those weren’t appropriate for the market anymore. So he bought one for me for a very discounted employee price and I tried it out!
I was really really impressed with how fast I could see the results. And… I was extremely happy that I didn’t only have the oil option anymore!
I found out about the Navan Skincare Stretch Mark Reducing Cream in a different way than I found out about the others. I have worked with them in the past to promote the brand on Instagram.
They sent me the cream so I could try it out and make up my own mind about it. I used it for a few weeks and was really happy with the results. To be completely honest, I think this was the best stretch mark cream out of all that I have used.
It sure is a little pricier than the others, but it works wonders to fade those stretch marks!
This post is not sponsored by them in any way! I’m including the product in my top choices because it truly is one of my top 3 stretch mark creams!
I’m happy I got to work with them and to try out their cream.
Get those Pregnancy Stretch Mark Creams to work, and ditch those stretch marks, baby!
Using those pregnancy stretch mark creams for sure helped me keep my stretch marks to a minimum. They have also helped fade the ones that appeared anyways, BIG time!
By using any of the creams I mentioned, I could notice the improvements after only a few short weeks of applying them to the affected area.
I truly recommend using a cream and doing it consistently. I still use stretch mark creams and have no intention of stopping. If I don’t use them for a few days, my skin gets itchy and the stretch marks a little more visible.
I really hope this review article helps you figure out which cream will work for you. Those 3 have really worked out well for me and I would recommend them to any friend who came asking me for a suggestion.
If you have any other tips about stretch marks or creams that have worked out for you, would you please share them down below in our comment section? I’m sure other mamas out there are dying to know which ones have worked for you! I am, anyway.
